About the Author | Diana Hardy Wilson has been involved with hand lettering and calligraphy since her school days, when she received her first commissions. She graduated from the Tasmanian School of Art, and is now based in London, where she has participated in several group exhibitions. Her first major solo exhibition was in 1985, and titled"Colour Speaks Words/Words Speak Colour". The exhibits included her highly individual works of a juxtaposition of painting and calligraphy on paper, and her decorative handmade books. she is an exhibiting member of the Free Painters and Sculptors, and has taught at the London College of Printing, Westminster Adult Education Institute and Croydon College. |
