Cartier Monaco

Cartier’s story in the Principality of Monaco is one of timeless beauty, deeply woven into the history of the Riviera. Nestled in one of the world’s most glamorous locations, Cartier opened its doors-drawing a distinguished clientele to Monaco’s sparkling shores.

Among the most illustrious patrons was Grace Kelly, who became Princess Grace of Monaco upon her marriage to Prince Rainier III. Her long relationship with Cartier was symbolized by the creation of her stunning engagement ring in 1956, adorned with a 10.48-carat emerald-cut diamond. Numerous treasures designed by Cartier-including a dazzling diamond riviere necklace from 1953 and a tiara of rubies and diamonds from 1955-were offered as wedding gifts. Now, Cartier’s Monaco boutique has been revitalized, paying homage to the maison’s place in the principality’s history and reaffirming its commitment to its prestigious clientele on the Riviera.

This book invites readers to explore a legacy of elegance and the beauty of the Mediterranean, which has inspired some of Cartier’s most splendid creations.
